Following the success of the First ever EU Algae awareness summit, the 2nd EU Algae Awareness Summit will take place on 16-17 October 2025 in the Axica conference centre in Berlin, Germany. The Summit is part of an ongoing effort to inform EU Member States’ administrations and EU citizens about the many benefits of algae cultivation, products and services – for national and regional economies, for coastal communities, and for the health of our Ocean and Waters. The Summit is organized by EU4Algae in cooperation with the European Commission. Participants will have the chance to explore real-life success stories from both within and beyond the EU algae sector, hear from top experts and industry leaders, and engage in dynamic panel and round table discussions. The event will also feature interactive group sessions, a vibrant exhibition area showcasing algae products; algae project results with algae products, creative workshops, and much more.
